To Catch you all Up

Since we last posted, Spring has officially sprung, St. Patty's day came and went, and the sun has showed it's face enough for us to get outside a lot and play! Braedon turned 18months old and signs that he is not a baby anymore pop up each and every day. Here are just a few snap shots of our first days of Spring! Hope you are all thawing out from the winter and enjoying this beautiful time of year!

A Strange thing: Last week when we went to the zoo, Braedon hopped up in this bench to take a seat and watch the monkeys. I noticed immediately that the plaque next to him said "Braedon's Bench" (weird huh?) Even more strange, when you look closely, it is dedicated in memory to a little boy that was born October 23, 2007 and passed on Braedon's exact birthday (not even a year later) September 19, 2008. At first I couldn't believe my eyes. So Sad:(

St. Patty's day was pretty uneventful for the Simpsons, although Nick and I managed to make our own little party out of it. Irish music on Pandora internet radio and guinness! We bbqed sausages (vegetarian and non) and steamed up a whole lotta cabbage and veggies. Yum:0

Thought this was a cute shot and one more reminder that my little baby is not a baby anymore. He is sitting in his chair eating his favorite food (Annies mac and cheese)!

Braedon is so proud of the worm he found out in the garden!

Much to my surprise, when I looked out the back window on Sunday I saw two boys rowing in the grassy river.

Last but not least, Braedon experienced his first ice cream cone! Exciting stuff-Humboldt Creamery Strawberry, which he LOVED until he dropped it!

Well, I hope that catches you up on things and again, we wish you a Happy Spring and would love to hear about some of the fun adventures you are all having out there.

Much Love,

The Simpsons
