Snow Day!

During the last of week of December (during Nick's wonderful week off!) we packed up a lunch and took ourselves out to find some snow! Braedon has driven through snow in his lifetime, but never has he gotten out of the car and actually played in it. We were so excited to experience this first with him! After driving for about 30-40minutes east?/west? (my directions are so off) we found some signs of snow and made our way to a high summit until we found a clearing open enough to explore with a toddler and three wild pups. Braedon had the time of his life exploring this new found creation. Our trip included eating the snow, building a snow man, sledding down small hills on daddy's boogie board, and having a good old snow ball fight. After changing into dry clothes, we jumped back in the car and headed home to our warm wood stove and cups of hot cocoa. What a beautiful day!

I can't even zip my jacket up at the moment and had to borrow his snow pants! Yikes, guess I wasn't prepared with maternity snow clothes.
