One Year Ago

One year ago, we took Braedon to his first Christmas Tree Farm (Ben Hurd's). We were so excited to stumble upon a new place to get our tree and this place was particularly unique. When you arrive at Ben Hurd's, you are first handed a saw and told to hike around a little bit and pick out your tree. Once you have chosen and cut your tree, you are invited back to take a complimentary picture next to the big measuring candy cane and enjoy homemade cookies and cider by the fire on the back porch. It really is a neat holiday experience, so we decided on that day, one year ago that we would make this a new annual family tradition!
