A Very Merry Christmas

Greetings Family and Friends!

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are making the most of the last week of 2009! Sorry for the lack of postings lately, but as you can probably relate, we have been caught up in the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season. After enjoying a few quiet nights by the fire wrapping gifts and packing for our trip, Nick, Braedon, and I traveled down to San Anselmo to spend the holiday with the rest of the Simpson clan. Our 5 day trip consisted of visiting with family and friends, enjoying a Chinese Christmas Eve dinner out, opening our Secret Santa gifts, shopping the day after Christmas sales, a "guys" fishing trip (even Braedon was included in this one), and nights spent playing games and watching movies by the fire.

Uncle Charlie and Auntie Faithe came down from Portland, OR.

Grandpa Vince reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas"

Uncle Charlie coming into town was all we needed for Christmas!

Me and Diane all cozy in our robes on Christmas morning!
(Santa brought me a blue fluffy one for Christmas:) )

The cutest couple on Christmas morning! (Auntie Jenny and Uncle Travis)

The whole Simpson clan enjoying Christmas dinner

Everyone got a crown from their Christmas popper!

I gave mine to Braedon, even though he was sleeping. I think Christmas pooped the little guy out!

Well, I think that pretty much sums it up! It was a very Merry Christmas!

After a long drive home in the pouring rain on Sunday, it felt good to be welcomed home by our 4 four-legged family members. (We really miss the animals when we travel!) Nick has this whole week off, so we've been catching up on things around the house and getting things in order to start off the New Year right. The Carmack clan is coming down from Oregon tomorrow to celebrate a belated Christmas and New Years Eve. So excited-can't wait! Can you believe tomorrow is the last day of 2009?

See you next year!!!!
